Thank you for opening this article.

My name is Suzuki from Chasanraku.

In September 2026, Chasanraku will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Looking back 10 years ago, I remember feeling excited as I prepared to open the store, wondering what kind of stories would unfold in this space, as I saw the brand-new shop that had just opened.

Since opening, and through the COVID-19 pandemic, we have gone through a lot of trial and error, but thanks to the support of countless people, including our customers who have visited us, the tea farmers who provide us with delicious tea, and the suppliers who have always helped us, we have been able to keep our shop open for 10 years.

Thank you so much.

Up until now, Chasanraku has mainly used Instagram to share information, but we wanted to share the charm of Japanese tea and its culture, which cannot be fully conveyed through photos and videos alone, with everyone, so we started a staff blog to commemorate our 10th anniversary.

  • About the Japanese teas sold at Chasanraku
  • The dedication of artisans to making shaved ice
  • The atmosphere of the tea ceremony and Japanese culture, etc...

I will mainly be writing about tea.

Going forward, we hope to continue providing everyone with a calming tea experience, and to be a shop that connects the culture of Japanese tea and the tea ceremony to the future.

We will continue to strive to be a store that is loved by everyone for another 10, 20 years and beyond, so we ask for your continued support.
