Chasanraku will be participating in the "Shaved Ice Event" held at Hanshin Umeda Main Store from July 29th to August 3rd.

For six special days, a diverse range of popular shaved ice shops from all over Japan will gather, each offering their own unique and refined creation. One of the unique charms of this event is the opportunity to compare different shaved ice flavors and appreciate the differences in ingredients, tastes, and preparation methods used by each shop.

At Chasanraku, we consider shaved ice to be "one way to enjoy tea."

Tea is not just something to drink; it reveals a new dimension when it's eaten. We carefully prepare each and every cup of shaved ice so that you can experience the aroma and flavor of tea, and the lingering aftertaste that spreads in your mouth.

At this event, I will be there myself, grinding the ice. Because it's a different environment from the store and we'll be serving at a faster pace than usual, I'll be carefully monitoring the ice temperature and the state of the espuma to finish each and every cup. Delivering the best possible cup to the customer in front of me at that moment is one of the things I value most at these events.

At the event, in addition to the popular "Matcha Espuma Shaved Ice" and "Matcha Milk Shaved Ice" available at our stores, we will also be offering "Whole Sesame and Matcha Shaved Ice," which aligns with the event's theme of "Whole ○○." We hope you'll enjoy discovering a unique treat that you can only taste at this event.





Furthermore, our Kyoto Arashiyama store will remain open throughout the event period. At the store, you can enjoy a variety of tea-flavored shaved ice, including not only matcha but also hojicha (roasted green tea) shaved ice, and the "Mitarashi Japanese Black Tea Shaved Ice," which will be available again from August 10th.

At Hanshin Umeda Main Store, enjoy comparing shaved ice flavors from all over Japan. In Kyoto's Arashiyama, spend some time relaxing in a tranquil setting while discovering the new charms of tea.
